To the Concert

“Sis, prepare na tayo.”

“kanina pa ako ready”

“Hehe.. wait lang”

“Sis, am ready let’s go.”

We’re already at the meeting place quarter before call time. We’re early not because of the excitement to see the concert but because we don’t want to be waited. Problem was we waited for our two buddies for more than an hour. How inconsiderate.. Palagi na lang ganon. Ano naman kaya ang idadahilan nila this time. Hndi pa naman ako kumain nang kahit ano since lunch, medyo nagrereklamo na rin ang sikmura ko.

While still waiting, I decided to order burger value meal 1. On my way to the next counter, I bumped into this cutie tattooed guy. Such a hunk, guess he’s my consolation for waiting too long. Hindi na nga sana ako oorder. Anyway he’s my reward dahil hindi lang panandaliang napawi ang gutom ko nabusog pa ang mga mata.

Bad trip lang.. Akala ko mag isa lang siya. Naghihintay din pala siya sa girlfriend niya na dumating bago pa man naubos ang inorder niyang burger… …NAMAN!!

Sa wakas dumating ding ang mga hinihintay namin…

It took us almost an hour going to the Mall of Asia. Kalokerz lang ang seats naming, sa pinakadulo ng bus which is sobrang nakakaliyo..

Before we proceed to the concert ground we had our dinner first at Sbarro. We ate two bake ziti (haft) in tomato and cheesy white sauce, a big slice of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and a heavy stuffed Angus cheese Steak pizza and a super large drink… Whooohh.. This kinda heavy in the stomach.. Super Sarapsa Delicioso..

We walked our way to the concert ground. The gates opened as early as 7pm and we are one of the few who comes early kaya naman nakakuha kami ng magandang puwesto, almost right in front of the big screen. A little bit later ay halos hindi na mahulugang karayom ang buong ground.

The concert was about to start…

Everyone chills and grooves with the music as Timbaland performs some cuts from his Shock Value II Album..

Another kalokerz moment happened when the projector technically turned off just before Jojo’s performance. Mabuti na lang at nagawan ng paraan. But Jojo’s performance was such a teaser, sobrang bitin.. Temperature rising when Justin Timberlake joined Timbaland on stage. He was definitely the icing on the cake..KILIG!

The concert signed off at exactly midnight…

We even crossed some of the celebrities along our way to the terminal..

GOING HOME…

Ang hirap sumakay, dami ba naman mga pasaherong nag uunahan sa pagsakay.. Halos inabot din kami ng hagit isang oras bago nakasakay..
Pagdating sa buendia ay wala na kaming inabutang biyahe pabalik.. Pero sabi ng isang barker doon sa terminal ay may darating daw na FX..

“Sige po”

Ang tagal halos kinse minutos na kaming naghihintay ay wala pa ang sinasabing FX. Maya-maya pa ay eto na..

“Sakay na kayo”

“Bayad niyo, P100 bawat isa”

“Ano diba kanina P80 exit lang naman kami eh”

“P100 talaga”

“hindi na po kami sasakay”

Punyetang driver ‘yan mapagsamantala. Sadyang pinaghintay kami ng matagal dahil habang lumalalim ang gabi ay mahihirapan kaming sumakay, nang sa ganon ay mapilitan kaming tanggapin ang offer niya.. Gago talaga, Manigas sila sa katarantaduhan nila.. Karma na lang nila na sa halip may pasahero pa sila ay nagbabaan din ang lahat ng sakay niya.. Ganid kasi!!!

Umiba kami ng ruta and thank God naka uwi din kami ng maayos at ligtas..
