Rated PG: Puerto Galera

Everything was packed and ready to go... It was a 1 and a half hour travel from Cavite to Batangas port. We left the car at the port’s parking lot and we had to pay P240/per day for the parking. We went to the ticket booth to buy our tickets for the trip which cost about P400+/per person round trip. We also had to pay for environmental tax amounting to P50, for the terminal fee, we had to pay P30/person.

We boarded the boat and after 1 and a half hour travel on water, we reached our destination: White Beach, Puerto Galera. We rented a house with 2 family rooms but the sad part was there is no electricity until early evening. We spent the day roaming the shore take pictures and enjoying the beauty of Galera.

Also on the first day, I experienced snorkeling for the first time. We rented a boat to bring us to the Coral Garden.  We had to pay P200/per head for the guide boat to move us around. The activity lasted for almost 2 hours.

After, we went to the next island to have our lunch and spend the rest of the day swimming and bonding.

It was a tiring day. Some of us were not able to get some sleep because, they went to one of the bars around and watch fire dancing and got to taste the famous “Mindoro Sling” — a popular cocktail drink that is served with slices of apple.

On the following day… again, swimming to the max, picture taking, picture taking and more picture taking.

Everyone was enjoying but we had to call it a day. It was time for everyone to go back home.
